The
genus Helichrysum as described in The Student's
Flora has been split into many genera (Ozothamnus,
Argentipallium,
Xerochrysum, Chrysocephalum,Coronidium, Pseudognaphaliumand Helichrysum). As a result, Tasmania now only
has two species of Helichrysum. One is a montane
rosette plant (H. pumilum); one is an erect coastal
herb (H. leucopsideum).
