Erigeron (Includes Conyza: Asteraceae) 2:314
Tasmania has four introduced species of Fleabane (Erigeron). These are common erect weeds of disturbed areas, roadsides and urban areas.

The flower heads of three of these species are in terminal panicles. The outer flowers of the heads have tiny ligules (only about 1mm long).

The fourth species, E. karvinskianus is quite different: it is almost hairless and its flower heads are solitary and on long peduncles (flower stems).

The mainly alpine genus Pappochroma were previously considered to be species of Erigeron
