Tasmania
has six native species of Pappochroma. They
are alpine or subalpine rosette species, ranging from the
moderate sized P. pappocromum to the tiny, P.
trigonum (which is commonly seen growing within
cushion plants, and resembles a single stem of Abrotanella).
