Tasmania
has two native species of Pauridia. These are
common and widespread plants that grow in a variety of
habitats, and which were previously considered to be part of
the genus Hypoxis; see here for a key to the two
genera.
The grass-like leaves arise from the base of the plant. The
flowers are yellow and star-shaped with six perianth members
(three petals and three sepals). |
