Hookerochloa (as part of Austrofestuca; Poaceae) 4b:222
Tasmania has one native species of Hookerochloa (H. hookeriana; formerly known as Austrofestuca hookerieana). It has open panicles of spikelets, which have several florets. It is quite a variable genus, often identified by elimination.

It is distinguished from Festuca by having the lemmas keeled on the back.
