Tasmania
has three native species of Pelargonium (storksbill)
and three species that are naturalised garden escapes. The
latter include species that are commonly called geraniums.
However, the Tasmanian Pelargonium species have
thicker leaves and more asymmetrical flowers than the true Geranium species.
