| Sprengelia
montana is a moderately common erect shrub of the
alpine/subalpine areas. It closely resemble S.
incarnata but is smaller, restricted to high
altitudes and has flowers with anthers that are spreading
(unlike those of S. incarnata which are held around
the style). |
