Hackelia latifolia (forest houndstongue or
austral houndstongue) is a rare herb, that grows in wet
forest in the North-West, including King Island. It can be
distinguished from H.
suaveolens and Cynoglossum
australe by its trailing habit, broad leaves,
habitat and the fact that its flowers are solitary and borne
below the leaves rather than in terminal cymes. |
