has one native species of Cynoglossum, C.
australe (coast houndstongue). It is a small-medium
sized, more-or-less erect herb of dry woodlands. It has blue
flowers and is superficially similar to forgetmenot (Myosotis)
but differs in that the mericarps ("seeds") are
bristly. |
