Gnaphalium (Asteraceae) 2:320

Although The Student's Flora describes many species of Gnaphalium, most of these have been split off into other genera (Euchiton, Helichrysum and Gamochaeta). Now only one native herb (G. indutum) remains within this genus. It is a small (sometimes very small) woolly, native annual herb that is commonly found in saltmarshes and other saline, intermittently wet places. It has more or less erect stems short, very narrow leaves.
