Microseris lanceolata (Asteraceae) 2:381

Microseris lanceolata
(yam daisy) is an alpine to sub-alpine perennial up to 50 cm high. It is very similar to M. Scapigera, except that its roots sometimes have adventurous shoots and it has slightly smaller seeds.

They are both similar to M. walteri but that species has a single, fleshy root that expands to a tuber, while M. lanceolata and M. Scapigera have several fleshy roots.
