Hypochaeris glabra (Asteraceae) 2:386

Hypochaeris glabra (smooth catsear) is a common weed of grassy places in Tasmania. The rosettes are flat, the leaves are elongated and have a few rounded teeth, and the upper surface of the leaf lacks hairs (except sometimes for a few on the margins).

Plants are often small with one or few flowering stems, which are sometimes branched with two or more flowerheads.

It is usually smaller (usually with rosettes less than 10 cm wide) than its relative, H. radicata, which also has erect hairs.
