Wurmbea biglandulosa (Colchicaceae [formerly part of Liliaceae]) not in The Student's Flora of Tasmania

 



Wurmbea biglandulosa in Tasmania is found only on Badger Island in the Furneaux Island Group. 

W. biglandulosa grows from 3.5 to 30 cm in height and has 3 well separated linear leaves. Plants are monoecious (sometimes male only) with 1 to 6 white flowers with pink nectaries and white corms.
