| Pauridia glabella (Hypoxidaceae)

Pauridia
glabella is a small, uncommon native species found in
close to the coast in the
northern half of Tasmania – often in grasslands or coastal
heath. It typically has a few grass-
like leaves up to 12cm long growing from a buried tuber with
up to four flowering stems each
usually with only one yellow, star-like flower.
