Milligania
johnstonii is a rare native species found on alkaline
pans in a few lowland valleys in south western Tasmania.
It is much smaller than the other species of Milligania. It
is a mat-forming plant with remains of old roots visible.
The leaves are dark green, up to 4cm long. The plant has an
inflorescence that bears up to 6 white flowers.
