Dianella revoluta is a common and widespread native
species that typically grows in dry
sclerophyll forest and grassland. The leaves are tightly
revolute when dry, but will unroll to a
large degree in wet conditions. The leaves are up to 85 cm
long and usually 10-20 mm wide
unrolled. The flowers are blue or violet or rarely white.
