Bulbine crassa  (Asphodelaceae)  Not in Students' Flora

    


Bulbine crassa is a robust, tufted perennial with fleshy roots and leaves which are channelled or plano-convex and up to 50 cm long. The perianth segments of the golden star-like flowers are 12-13 mm long. The filaments of the inner stamens are densely bearded.
In Tasmania this species is confined to the islands of Bass Strait.
