Arthropodium milleflorum (pale vanilla-lily) is a
tufted plant to c. 1.3 m high with plump tubers attached at
the ends of the roots. The leaves are grass-like and up to
40 cm long. The inflorescence has one to four flowers per
node, on a scape to 50 cm long.
The flowers have perianth segments (petals and sepals) which
are white or pale blue to purple and the stamens have
filament hairs which are white tinged with purple (rarely
entirely white) and purple, white or green anthers.
