orientalis (dwarf wire-lily) is a reasonably common
and widespread native species of open vegetation ranging
from the coast to moderate altitudes. The leaves occur in
clusters along the wiry stem and are up to 4 cm long. The
inflorescence has only a few flowers, which are brown and
quite inconspicuous. |
