Burchardia umbellata (milkmaids) is moderately common
native species that grows in heaths, grassland and dry open
forest.
The plant has one or two very narrow leaves (about
20cm long) growing from the erect stem. The flowers are
white, quite small and in a terminal umbel. The plant has a
corm covered in papery scales. |
