Alstroemeriaceae (formerly part of Liliaceae)

Alstroemeriaceae
is a small family with one native genus, Drymophila,
and one introduced genus, Alstroemeria.
These genera were once considered to be part of
Liliaceae, which was a very artificial grouping of plants
and has therefore been splintered into numerous families.
