Iris foetidissima (stinking iris) is a weed
species which has leaves up to 70 cm long and 1-2.5 cm wide.
The scape is usually shorter than the leaves, unbranched and
with 2-4 condensed clusters each with 2-3 flowers, which are
overall dull purple-grey to brownish yellow, with darker
veins
