Libertia
pulchella is a reasonably common native herb. The
stems are flattened and the leaves are in two rows. The
leaves are erect and firm. The flowers are white. It has two
distinct varieties - var pulchella grows from about
3 to 18cm high and is a common species in the understorey of
rainforest and other wet forest, especially in northern and
western Tasmania; - var pygmaea is a tiny plant
(<4cm tall) that grows in subalpine and alpine areas.
