Hymenophyllum flabellatum (shiny filmyfern) is a
common native fern in wet forests. It is the largest of
Tasmania's filmy ferns, and grows on the ground and logs.
Like all filmy ferns, the leaf laminas are only one cell
thick. The sporangia are in a cup at the edge of the
leaf.
