Asplenium
hookerianum is a very rare native rainforest
groundfern, known only from Hellyer Gorge and Dry's Bluff.
It is a small fern with many times divided leaves. The sori
are elongated, placed on the underside of the lamina and are
protected by a flap of the lamina (an indusium).
