| Two
species of Lycium have become naturalised in
Tasmania. L. ferocissimum (african boxthorn) is the
most widespread and is readily recognised by its dense,
spinous habit, whitish flowers with purple centres and small
fleshy fruit. L. barbarum (chinese boxthorn,
matrimony vine or wolfberry) is a spiny, woody climber. |
