Datura (Solanaceae) 3:509

Two species of the large genus of poisonous plants, Datura, have become naturalised in Tasmania. D. stramonium (thornapple) and D. ferox are both robust herbs. The flowers are large and white. The fruit are thorny.

Angels trumpets (Brugmansia species) are also commonly known as Datura. These erect poisonous shrubs are widespread as garden plants but do not appear to have become naturalised.
