Galium leiocarpum is a tangled prostrate, native
herb, often spreading by underground rhizomes. The stems are
hairless or sparsely hairy and up to 40 cm long. The leaves
and stipules are slightly unequal in size and in
whorls of four
Flowers occur in groups of about 3 in the leaf axils and are
shorter than the leaves when mature.
