| Galium
gaudichaudii (rough bedstraw) is a widespread and
reasonably common native herb that grows in open sclerophyll
forests and other dry places. It is prostrate, though
sometimes with the ends of the branches erect ("ascending")
with slender stems. It varies from quite hairy to almost
hairless. The flowers are in inflorescences of 1-7 and are
greenish-yellow or cream. |
