| Galium
australe (tangled bedstraw) is a widespread and common
native herb that occurs in a wide range of habitats,
including coastal heath, dry forests, dry pastures and even
occasionally epiphytically on tree ferns. It is a slender
perennial herb with straggling stems. The leaves are in
whorls of 4, and are narrow and 3-10mm long. The fruit are
rounded and have stiff hooked hairs. |
