Asperula oblanceolata is a hairless or nearly hairless plant with stems about 30cm long, starting flat to the ground and turning up at the ends.The leaves are in whorls of 4 - 8 but mostly 6, with recurved or revolute margins.
The white flowers occur in cymes of 1-5, at the tips of the stems or in the leaf axils. They are 1.5 to 3.5 mm long with the tube shorter than the lobes.
