Acaena montana (Rosaceae) 1:175 Acaena montana (mountain buzzy) is a small, prostrate, native alpine plant that is often found in rocky places. It has hairy leaves and is more compact than the only other species of Acaena (A. novae-zelandiae) that occurs in the alpine zone.
