Spyridium
eriocephalum (heath dustymiller) is a rare shrub
that in Tasmania is known to be extant only on dry hillsides
in the East Risdon Reserve near Hobart.
Specimens
were collected, well over 100 years ago, from the north of
the state, but those populations are now believed to be
extinct.
It has narrow leaves that resemble those of S.
ulicinum, but unlike that species, S. eriocephalum
is a low shrub with flowers in heads.
