Pomaderris
paniculosa (shining dogwood) is a rare, medium sized,
dense shrub that grows on several of the Bass Strait
Islands, and the eastern part of the north coast. It has
smallish (<15 mm long) leaves which have no hairs on the
upper surface, except around the margin. The flowers have no
petals (like P.
apetala). It usually has smaller leaves than its
relative, P. oraria.
