Ranunculus triplodontus ( Ranunculaceae)

Ranunculus triplodontus (threetooth buttercup) is
a reasonably common native rosette herb, of open, wet,
subalpine to alpine places. The leaves are very polymorphic,
but usually either three toothed or three lobed, hairless or
slightly hairy. The flowers are inconspicuous, solitary and
held on very short stalks among the leaves. They are usually
either pale yellow-green with 2-3 petals, or glossy yellow
with 5 petals. |
