Ranunculus lappaceus (woodland buttercup) is a
widespread and common native species that grows in well
drained grasslands and sclerophyll forests from sea level to
the alpine zone. The leaves are in a rosette with a stout
rootstock with fibrous roots. The leaves are divided into
three narrow leaflets, each with three lobes. The flowers
have 6 petals and are a few centimeters across and are held
among the leaves. |
