Ranunculus acris (meadow buttercup) is an uncommon
weed that grows in agricultural land in the south. It is a
large, erect herb (with flowering stems up to 1 m tall, with
several golden-yellow flowers a couple of cm across). The
lower leaves are large (up to 15cm across) and almost
circular in outline, but divided into 3-7 lobes, which in
turn are divided into three toothed lobes. |
