Veronica elliptica (formerly known as Hebe elliptica; Plantaginaceae) not in the Students Flora

One New Zealand species of Veronica (V. elliptica) has become naturalised in Tasmania. It is an erect, much branched shrub with quite thick, elliptical leaves a couple of cm long. This species seems to have an inordinate fondness for lighthouses. It is only known from a few islands with lighthouses (including Maatsuyker Island off the south coast of Tasmania).
