Callitriche
sonderi is a rare native species that, in Tasmania,
is only known from the Sea Elephant River, King Island
and a few places on the central north coast of the Tasmanian
mainland. It is very similar to the widespread introduced
species, C.
stagnalis, but has broader fruit.
