Tasmania has four native and one introduced species of Billardiera. Most species are climbers with purple fruit and tubular, cream flowers.
The introduced species (Billardiera heterophylla) is a scrambling plant with blue flowers, it was previously known as Sollya heterophylla (also as Billardiera fusiformis).
