| Epilobium
(willowherb) is a widespread and abundant
genus of herbs in Tasmania. It includes nine native species
and three introduced species. The flowers are usually quite
conspicuous, and the tiny seeds with large plumes, derived
from the long, pod-like capsule are distinctive. |
