Stackhousia pulvinaris (alpine candles) is a rare, prostrate native herb found in native tussock grasslands ranging from the Midlands to subalpine areas (e.g. Vale of Belvoir). It is a much branched herb with narrow leaves 5-8mm long and solitary yellow flowers.
