Oxalis pes-caprae (soursob) is a common weed species (especially in gardens) with trifoliate leaves and abundant yellow flowers. The leaves are hairless above, have a few hairs underneath, and are often purple-flecked. The leaves are all basal.

This species does not produce mature fruit or set seed in Tasmania. It is spread in soil containing bulbs and bulbils.
