Liparophyllum
gunnii is a moderately common aquatic found in
mountain tarns. The plants are rooted to the substrate with
obvious ringed rhizomes. The plant is sometimes submerged or
otherwise is found on mud. It has linear leaves that are
clustered almost in rosettes, and small cream flowers.
