Liparophyllum exiguum (nb the record of Nymphoides
crenata in the Students Flora was a mistake) is a
small, endemic, aquatic or semi-aquatic plant that is
widespread from sea level to sub-alpine areas. The leaves
are small (<2cm wide) and broad, the flowers are small,
yellow and inconspicuous. It forms tangled mats in shallow
water or on wet mud.
