Gunnera
tinctoria (giant rhubarb) is a large,
introduced, clumping perennial which has become
naturalised in a few places mainly in and to the south of
Hobart. Its stems have numerous spikes and the leaves can be
up to 2.5 m across. The flowers are grouped into large
cones.
