Gunnera cordifolia (Gunneraceae) 1:194 Gunnera cordifolia is a perennial endemic herb which grows near streams and in wet grassy places in subalpine areas such as Middlesex Plains.  It has dark green, thick, almost circular leaves, and in autumn has small spikes of red fleshy fruit.
