has one native species of monkeyflower, Thyridia repens
(creeping monkeyflower) a common native saltmarsh species.
It is a creeping herb with small (2-10mm long), rounded,
opposite leaves and bluish purple flowers with yellow
throats.
T. repens was previously called Mimulus repens.
