Lonicera (Caprifoliaceae) 2:265

Two species of honeysuckle have become naturalised in Tasmania. Lonicera periclymenum (honeysuckle) and L. japonica (japanese honeysuckle) are climbing garden species that have become established in native vegetation, especially in and near urban areas. They both have ovate or elliptical leaves about 3-7 cm long. The corollas form yellow/pinkish tubes about 2-4 cm long, which are split into two lips. The upper lip is large and has four lobes.
