Fraxinus (Oleaceae) not in The Student's Flora

 



Desert ash or narrow-leaved ash (Fraxinus angustifolia) is naturalised in places in Tasmania. It is a small deciduous tree with compound, opposite leaves with seven leaflets. It flowers in winter when the leaves have dropped. The flowers are small and inconspicuous.
